The river tour was next. We were to sail up the river to Westminster, get off for a little while and sail back down the river to the Tower of London where we could catch a bus back to the hotel. Once we got off the boat at Westminster, I was accosted by a street actor dressed in cowboy clothes. I had an -ahem- lovely picture taken with him.
Because it was so windy and cold, Barbara huddled in a store and I walked down the street to get a picture of Big Ben.
Upon return to the dock, we found the last boat to the Tower of London had left for the day. Ah well, we missed the second half of the tour. We found a bus to take us back to the hotel, had dinner and called it a day. We walked 6.8 miles according to the pedometer.
